I didn’t watch the video, because I’m not playing her game here. I think she’s trying to make a point with this “performance art,” but what that point it is, I’m not sure. For her doubters, it’s just grist for their mill to discredit her. For her supporters, it’s just plain uncomfortable. I will say, though, that if she ever considers taking Nungesser to a real criminal or civil court, this video is not going to help her case one iota.

Those who hate her (as opposed to those who simply disagree with her (as I do)) can be counted on to play the hand this video deals them wrongly. Instead of keeping their criticism measured and rational, they’ll do what UpChuck does and resort to crude insults and slut-shaming, which will make anything Sulkowicz does look good by comparison.
