That’s how our last dog went. 1 1/2 years on seizure meds. We knew it was a matter of time and worked to keep her happy and reduce any discomfort. So, we were vigilent and looking for the signs that it was time. She eventually told us in her own way.

That was about 15 years ago. Current
FO seems to be going strong at 13. I don’t think I’ll nurse her along for nearly as long as I did the other one, if it comes to that.
