Maybe I’m really slow — but per CNN online: “Trump also said he plans to ask Congress to expedite tax reform efforts in the wake of damages caused by the hurricane.” ?? What sense does that make?? Unless he is proposing a significant tax increase on the wealthiest of Americans, it would seem that any GOP tax proposal would reduce our ability to help during natural disasters or will just increase the national debt. What is he talking about? Of course, it’s not as though he actually understands anything about policy anyway.
