There seem to be a whole lot of people on Twitter who think Al Franken is just as bad as Roy Moore, based on one photograph in which he doesn’t even touch Leeann Tweeden, and they’re mostly not right wingers.

Far too many have internalized the ‘both sides same thing’ refrain, including the usual corollary of ‘But Dems are worse when they do it’. They literally excuse GOP malfeasance under ‘but they’re Republicans, it’s what they do’, while demanding purity from Dems.
