The problem here is chicken & egg at this point: are they essentially in charge because they’re better organized and relentless, or are they better organized and relentless because they’re already essentially in charge?

The NRA et. al. seems to be able to do this kind of shit precisely because they already have their fingers everywhere and can ensure they’re the only ones that get listened to. I’m not sure how much simply getting ‘better organized’ will overcome the infinitely deep pockets and eternal ownership that the NRA seems to control.

To use a war analogy, because I consider this a war, the Germans were better organized at the start of both wars, the South was better organized at the start of the Civil War, and whites were much better organized when MLK Jr. and Co. began organizing.
