This is how we show how much we believe in the work ethic and the dignity of labor, right? Not to mention the self-regulating, problem-solving, invisible-handed powers of the Free Market.

Why would anyone think that someone would want a barista job other than for pay? Flexibility in schedule may be a bonus but the primary attraction has to be the pay.
