Referencing Alinsky to get a handle on the current left is like asking Alexander Graham Bell for advice on how to use an iPhone. You’re relying on ideas that are decades out of date.

True but the irony or the bright side depending on ones perspective is they aren’t actual reading books or people that ‘the left’ actually read and use, so they remain rather clueless and living in a fantasy world.

Not going to bother to bring up the fact that ‘the left’ is by far not some homogenous group that complies with some sort of specific reading list in order to get into the ‘club’. That might be a little bit too complex a conversation.
