Seriously, comparing people who want marriage equality to the Nazis. I am not anti Christian but I don’t blame gay people for being hostile to Mormons, Evangelicals, and Catholics for being some of the biggest funders in the movement to stop gay marriage. Erickson’s a douche for making that analogy. I could make the same analogy for how right wingers act about the Muslims.

There’s always Scott Lively who wrote “Pink Swastika”:

Scott Lively is the president of the “Abiding Truth Ministries”, a conservative Christian organization that promotes conservative family values. In his biography he describes himself as “one of the most knowledgable and articulate opponents of the homosexual agenda in America.”

Along with Kevin E. Abrams, he co-authored the book The Pink Swastika, which states in the preface that “homosexuals [are] the true inventors of Nazism and the guiding force behind many Nazi atrocities.” Several academic historians have questioned the book’s claims and selective use of research.

Lively is the former state director for the California branch of the American Family Association and formed Watchmen on the Walls based in Riga, Latvia.

He has been linked to the Uganda Anti-Homosexuality Bill.
