I’d bet there is a boilerplate opt-out checkbox buried somewhere that says they are giving permission to give their information to third party spammers.

I freaking hate opt out functions. There should be a damn law against it. If your product or service is all that and I need it, let me opt in.

Asking someone to opt out might bring you some business one time. However, I wonder how many ever buy something again when they are duped like that.

I guess it is one of those ‘get all you can then move on business plans.’
