I believe (and I am not going back to read that long, rambling, insane post. So we’ll just have to rely on my memory) that the idea was they hooked up when she was studying in Washington State.
The same idea, by the way, was used to claim Obama was really Jimi Hendrix’s kid. We know that isn’t true, because if it was…Obama would have told everyone.

He even told us about embarrassing genealogy news, like when those people who do the candidate family trees every cycle discovered that he was 8th cousins with Dick Cheney. His reaction was “aw, man, I was hoping for something like Willie Mays. But this is what I get?!?”
