The GOP has decided to portray Thurgood Marshall, SCOTUS justice, civil rights icon, and fundamentally involved in dismantling Jim Crow, as unamerican, radical, and activist.

If only the Feds had just not involved themselves.
Jim Crow would have gone away on its own.
Our Negros had no problem with Jim Crow.
Whites and blacks got along in the South until those Yankees came down and meddled with things.
