Immelt and Ailes are not equivalent. Immelt is the CEO of a company that owns a network. Ailes is the president of a “news’ organization. Huge difference.
While it may be legal for Ailes to play and advisory role, I have my doubts about the executive privilege claim, although I’m not familiar with the New Jersey statute.
re: #14 sattv4u2
Probably a dozen (or so) ways why it is (legal)
If they don’t meet/ talk while Ailes is in his “FOX” office, or Christie in the governors mansion
As long as they don’t agree on some quid=pro-quo deal (i.e. Chrsitie getting discounted ad space or preferential time slots on FOX affiliates come campaign time)What ,,, you think this is the `1st Media Big Wig/ Politician Alliance !?!?!
((cough copugh Jefferey Immelt/ Barack Obama cough cough)))
