I’m so embarrassed. I used to DONATE to him. OMG, I could die of the embarrassment.

I think there was always an element of ego and unwillingness to back down from unreasonable positions about him, but he has definitely jumped the shark and gone to a completely higher plane of asshole/liar/hypocrite. I’d be interested to know how many converts there are like me out there. I’ve rarely respected anyone less than I respect him now.

I never donated - I’m a cheap summbitch - but I used to read approvingly his pre-Salon blog, and even bought his book. Or at least, I seem to recall having bought his book. Then I kinda lost track, and the next time he crossed my radar was when Snowden rabbited to Hong Kong and all this shit started.

He’s become SO unreasonable that I wonder why I never saw it before.
