Not likely to happen. As Charles notes, allowing people to post links to your content in their FB status drives traffic to your site. My WordPress site has a plugin that automatically re-posts a snippet of each blog to my FB page, for example. Sad to say, ignoring FB would be like ignoring Amazon or Google.
