What’s up with Republicans blocking the counting of votes? Democrats need to embarrass the hell out of them for trying that nonsense. Every vote needs to be counted. Period.

Conservatism has always been opposed to democracy. They cannot be embarrassed for supporting what they believe is true (only the “right” people should vote, or there should be no votes).

“Democrat” was made into a slur by the Federalist Party when Thomas Jefferson formed the Democratic-Republican Party. The Federalists were concerned giving as many people the franchise as possible would be ruinous to society.

The “Democrat Party” slur goes back to the late XIX Century.
