For me, it’s a 13th Amendment question, it’s about involuntary servitude. My uterus, my blood, my kidneys, my thyroid, the calcium in my bones, those are mine. Nobody else gets to use them without my consent. There’s a reason it’s called “labor”.
The question of the absoluteness of that right was pretty much kneecapped by the Selective Service Act. In practice, we have the rights the body politic says we have.
