We also have MacArthur and his troops clearing out the Bonus marchers without even a peep from the population. Multiple massacres of strikers and not a peep outside of the unions. Tulsa and the other “riots” that Americans cheered on.

And don’t even forget September 11, 1973.

I could continue but I think the point is made. I do not think we can assume that the one will happen again when so many other things have happened instead.

Your other examples weren’t carried live on TV and the internet. When police carnage was beamed directly into people’s homes on the nightly news, the people were outraged. If millions of protesters all over the country are brutalized by cops because the Court rubber stamped a fascist coup, I don’t think the people will just shrug their shoulders.
