Haha I think Hoyer is actually a year older and has more seniority. I think of the possible choices Hoyer is the worst and it’s not because of his age. It’s because he’s really not the type of personality you want running the House IMO.

Throw Lujan and Castro in the mix (and keep Seth Moulton far, far away) and I’m with your list. Also, I’m an old, and I think we need somebody younger as well.
