Yesterday, when Bob Engel and another Secret Service figure allegedly disputed Hutchinson’s claims, I almost quipped, “Cops lie on the stand while under oath all the time, and rarely get caught or punished. The Secret Service is merely another breed of cop. They’re loyal not necessarily to facts, but to their conceptions of the proper social order. If they think their job is still to lie to protect Trump, they will lie to protect Trump.”

Yep. I’m shocked but not surprised how Trumpy the Secret Service appears to be.
