Yes, there is always some point when the figures start to “sing”, sometimes it is a small detail, like brass buttons on a greatcoat or white piping on black trim.

We are celebrating the weekend with another Napoleonic gaming blowout, probably Borodino, as we did not get a chance to do it in September. 8(At this point in 1812, the French were stuck in a blizzard trying to get across the Berezina back into Poland).

Its my own fault. Went with black fatigues, olive drab body armor, dark brown boots and webbing, trimmed with a medium grey that was washed with black to bring out the details. I’ve been messing around trying to add a cammie pattern or pickout some other details to pick out with a brighter color and its just hasn’t come together yet.
