There’s an interesting situation ongoing, where a descendant in California is suing the Hungarian govt for some valuable artwork that was seized in the run-up to WWII.

Seems quite obvious morally until you start thinking abou direct reparations for slavery etc.

Survivors in Switzerland requested access to their family’s bank accounts since the end of the war, only to be refused because they lacked official death certificates. It is not like there is a class action suit brought many years later.
