Scary part is that Brexiteers are getting away with selling this as another test of British toughness and resolve. And getting away with it in much of the media. Even the BBC, although it reports on supply chain and labo(u)r shortages, does not begin to call out those responsible.

And yes, theoretically, this could lead to a reform of the labo(u)r market and better wages and conditions for working people. But given their leadership, I don’t expect we will be seeing much of that.
