I’m kind of a heathen too, actually. I’m woefully ignorant about classic movies. I’ve never seen the Quiet Man.

My ex had been a film student and he made me watch Citizen Kane, which I thought was great, but he would rave about its camera angles and shots and I just never notice those things. I just like the things I like, as Slumbering Behemoth said upthread about music—I’m pretty unsophisticated.

I’m kind of the same way…something either catches my attention or it doesn’t….but the Quiet Man is a must see….if you run across it channel surfing stop and watch….hilarious
