2 different experiements— the stanford one is the one conducted by philip zimbardo. They’re related, obviously, in content.

The stanford experiment constructed a prison with guards and inmates. They had to shut it down after only six days because the abuses of detainees got so out of hand.

I remember seeing a documentary about that on NatGeo. Power corrupts.
