I don’t think that Rick Perry will get the nomination, for a couple of reasons.

First, his abject refusal to participate in debates. This may be okay early on, but the closer to primary season we get, he’s going to start alienating voters.
Second, his slightly less than absolutist views regarding immigration. The Nationalist wing of Republicans (aka Geller, etc) already don’t like him much because of this.

If Rudolph Giuliani decides to join the fray, honestly, unless he royally screws up, the nomination is his to lose.

Has Rudy become pro-life or something? The GOP isn’t nominating a pro-choicer and he did worse than Romney back in 2008. And seriously what’s he going to run on? A noun, a verb and 9/11? Obama already trumped him by getting OBL.
