I don’t know much about a big cat’s behavior and what they would be like in the wild of a state like New Mexico. Do they stay away from people or do they like to get curious about people and you would need to be aware of them in some places they populate?

One sighting on the AZ/NM border, otherwise they’ve all been in AZ. They avoid people. People should avoid them.
