I don’t disagree, yet… my feeling in my bones is that Kristol’s problem with Trump and his cult are embarrassments of decorum, not ideological. I haven’t seen him take issue with the substantive destruction WRT immigration, tax, CHIP, etc. It’s all image related. He just appears to be horrified to be in the same box as the crass boor he helped to elect.

I’m inclined to agree. Case in point -

I follow Rick Wilson on Twitter. Fiercely anti-Trump. On the day the Rape the Poor Act was passed, I waited all day for him to even acknowledge it.

Not a word. I was disappointed, but not really surprised.
