The difficulty with firing Kelly is who the hell would want that job? Trump may end up having no CoS at all, and just a three ring circus, not that it isn’t close to being one now.

It’s rather crazy to say this, but Trump not having a Chief of Staff might be best case scenario for the country. The more untenable a reckless and incompetent White House becomes, the more likely it would be to see more Congressional Republicans turn against Trump. Alternatively, that kind of mess in the White House would probably boost Democratic chances for taking back Congress in November.
