I have a feeling that this election is going to be a major clusterfuck that will make 2000 look like a round of mah-jongg

too many people who want to ensure that the winner does not win

And yet - Bevin conceded in Kentucky and Beshear will take office. The Democrats will take control of the Virginia statehouse. The worst of the Michigan redistricting attempts got beaten back in court. Even the ham-fisted attempts by my local county Republicans to hang on to control after losing the county executive race to a Dem (first time since 1997) didn’t work - they withdrew their bill after the public outcry got too loud.

When we push back, we win.
