How the fuck did Rittenhouse get the weapons claim dismissed? That one was a slam dunk and now it has been taken off the table.

I saw a tweet (I think from Elizabeth De La Vega) saying that she wasn’t disturbed by the elimination of the weapons claim because the jury now had no ‘compromise’ position to take for a lighter sentence.
