Left wing pentacostals will put their hand over your shoulder and invite you to church just as much as right wing ones will.

They’re all well-meaning, but wrong. They don’t know how awkward that can be for non-or-different-believers.

I watched a liberal service a couple of months ago, I don’t remember how or why, as I don’t channel surf, but I was struck by how kind and loving the preacher was. It was the polar opposite of what I’ve been exposed to from the right in recent years, and I stuck around for the rest of the service despite not being religious myself.
