In a way, I can see it being harder for a not-that-great player to come out. A totally dominant guy could come out and a lot of people would support him based on that skill. Instead, Collins has to deal with people rumoring that he only revealed this because he’s nearing the end of his career and blah blah.

Well, if this basketball thing winds down, I think he can take up writing, because the man can tug at some heartstrings.
