Those who are doing the Ooohing and ahhinng seem to forget that the the world of the 21st Century isn’t the world of the 19th Century. An unhinged, impulse-driven, attention-seeking U.S. president, an unhinged, power-hungry Syrian leader who is intent upon maintaining power in his nation come hell or high water, a young, unhinged, nuclear-armed North Korean leader who is salivating at the thought of using a nuke on the U.S., and a manipulative, ego-maniacal Russian president who is just itching to expand his power is not a thought that gives me ease or makes me sleep well at night. One of my biggest concerns is what happens if Trump gives the OK to fire on North Korea? The consequences are terrifying, and it would be devastating not only for persons living in the region but also for Americans, especially since Kim Jong-Un has openly expressed a desire to aim one of his nukes at the USA.
