We all remember how the F-117 was supposedly invulnerable because it was “invisible” to radar…right up until the Serbs shot one down. Then the USAF tried to brush the whole thing off as the Nighthawk being “outdated” and the downing as a “lucky shot,” but it’s hard to win back the idea that stealth aircraft are “invisible” when a SAM-3 blows one out of the sky.
