Can’t get the Amazon link to work but check out the Yamaha P71 88 key keyboard at $399. Based on my limited experience in keyboards, I think it would be a great compromise for your budget.

That looks pretty good! I’m sure the youngest would gripe that it only has “ten voices.” LOL.
