Yep. I keep a supply of soft blankets around to put on my lap for my cat.
These have the added bonus that I can quickly remove the blanket from said lap when I need to, without getting all tangled up in it or falling down when I stand up.

Do they make blankets that suck dander out of the air? I’m allergic to cats, but my cat goes nuts if I don’t let him sleep on the bed with me. So when I wake up in the morning, it’s 15 to 30 minutes of intense sinus therapy before I’m normal.
