As a warning because I know you have a daughter who just started college, my stepfather has what he calls the “parental statute of limitations”. Now that we’re in our late 20s my sister and I disclose stupid/quasi-illegal/illegal things we did in high school and college. He would still prefer not to know.

Oh, heck.
I know what she does, she doesn’t keep many secrets.
I just keep an eye out for signs of overdoing things.
And I haven’t seen any yet, she’s a smart kid, she’ll be OK, just as her Dad & I turned out OK.
