That’s ARA Santísima Trinidad (D-2), one of the two British Type 42 destroyers acquired for the Argentine navy in the 1970s. Unlike her sister ship, ARA Hercules, Santissima Trinidad was actually built in Argentina. The Falklands War quite understandably shut off the supply of spare parts and the ship was put into reserve in 1989 and gradually cannibalized to keep Hercules running.
Santissima Trinidad has been sunk twice. The first time was in 1975, when leftist insurgents planted a limpet mine under the incomplete ship, causing severe damage that delayed completion. The second time (and the one pictured) was in 2013, when a valve failed and the mostly stripped hulk heeled over at its moorings. It was re-floated and is undergoing cosmetic restoration as a museum ship.
Hercules remains nominally operational as a command and training ship, with many alterations to replace unavailable British components.
