It will, but I think it’s going to have a really nasty consequence for Republicans in future elections. Everyone is either a woman or has a mother.

I think one of the things that helped gays was that in the last decade or so, as gays came out to their families, more and more people found out they knew, or were related to, a gay person. Thus, an attack on gays suddenly became an attack on a friend or family member. It’s going to be the same with attacks on Clinton.
