OK, I’m with teleskiguy here. The world is not ending, the USA is not a one-party dictatorship, Trump is not Mussolini or Mugabe. It’s not a bed of roses now, but conceding defeat now is just plain stupid. Trump did not win the popular vote, and some Dems were elected to formerly GOP seats in Congress. The news media has not been entirely co-opted, and no journos have been arrested or disappeared.

I live in a one-party state, and I can tell you the USA is not a one-party state now, nor it will be. I heard the RWNJs rant and rave for 8 years about Obama the tyrant and how the USA was a dictatorship, blah blah blah. Well, it wasn’t then and it won’t be now — not as long as people can push back against the stupidity of Trump and Co.

So, please stop with the hyperbole. Find a constructive way to fight the good fight, instead of indulging in pointless handwringing.
