That’s not by accident.

Trump’s base is similarly misinformed and ignorant. Fox has weaponized the ignorance, and the GOP exploits it daily. Trump is the consequence of this ignorant worldview; he’s the symptom of the moral/ethical rot of the GOP, which has been conditioned that upon hearing the word Clinton or Obama to think of every conspiracy theory under the sun and to launch still more nonsensical investigations that will deflect attention from ongoing criminality in Trumpworld.

And the NYT has a column about the conspiracy theory that says Trump is a genius.
