Well, it makes sense when you consider the kind of man he is. Donny has never given anything in his life, he’s only taken because that’s how he was taught to view the world. It’s why he views business transactions as a means to further enrich himself while fleecing those weaker than himself and bankrupting his equals. Hence why banks treat him as a pariah, because he doesn’t understand that taking other people’s money comes with strings.
