Reality: The vaccine development and trials would have happened irrespective of “operation warpspeed” and US taxpayers dollars. If anything, awaiting money from the government probably slowed down the science. Over the last 20 years, I have been funded by government agencies (DOD, NIH, Texas, Florida, etc) and by pharm (AZ, BMS, etc) and EVERYTHING is slower with government funding.

Why does trump want credit for “developing” a vaccine for a hoax?

Why does the govt need to fund research for that?
