The problem is that Brexiteers don’t connect these issues with Brexit. They just think that the shops, delivery drivers, restaurants, etc., have all just suddenly become incompetent at the same time.

What I’ve been seeing is the usual “If we just got everybody off the dole, then all these employment problems would fix themselves tomorrow!” logic that our homegrown morons thought was “common sense” during the Great Recession. That there were just millions sitting at home who could (with the right “motivation”) get out there and be productive members of society by the end of the week.
