hmmm.the dvd gift is funny. my wife and I bought my MIL some dvd’s here in the states fofrthe MIL birthday. MIL lives in Austria, the dvd’ didn’t work in Austria. I have no idea why, my only thought was the different voltages and the speed of the player…but point is, not only was it a stupid gift, but it would even be funnier if they didn’t play for Brown once he got home to the UK. Of course he probably wouldn’t bother to watch them anyhow.
