You’ve heard of a “Place called Hope”, haven’t you?
Clinton was raised lower middle class, and Obama was raised by a single mom and grandparents in a decidedly middle class home.
The presidents you mention above were also solidly middle class.
In fact, it’s kind of the other way around, the only two rich from birth presidents were Kennedy and Bush.
Of all the recent presidents, Clinton would be the only one considered from a low income household, though I pretty sure Nixon was pretty blue collar, I seem to remember that he was not raised poor, as in poverty.

I guess they didn’t teach history in your high school. Ford was the only one I wasn’t certain of. Nixon grew up in abject poverty, Reagan also. Both were childhood laborers. Neither had a job which would be allowed under today’s child labor laws. What I was going for, was pointing out that President’s who are sometimes viewed as puppets of the wealthy, are the very same people who did not come from that strata of society. Sometimes, those viewed as the great protectors of the poor, are the people who come from the same strata of society they are baiting us to be against.
