More efficiently?
Anyone want to wiki up the costs and spending on the F22 and F35 fighter programs? Those programs, while creating the most high tech fighters in the world are anything but a sign of efficiency. The cost per aircraft has soared, and the costs threaten the DoD budget.
Or how about the fact that Congress is forcing the Army to buy tanks it doesn’t need all to keep a factory line going until a new tank design is brought to the market to replace the Abrams. Lots of places in the budget need reform - but it is indeed odd where the GOP wants to focus versus where real cost savings can be accomplished.
The GOP isn’t interested in efficient spending, just in destroying the social safety net in order to BLAME OBAMA.
