I spent a lot of time on a hobby-related site that had an “anything goes!” forum. That became the most interesting. But over time, even though most of the members were progressive or liberal leaning, about five or six fact-free types came to dominate every discussion. I doesn’t take much. I knew about LGF from the Dan Rather fiasco many years ago, but was pleased to see it more settled. I’ll admit that I like it here because the variety is across the range of left-to-center contributors. That may seem like a bubble to some, but there is a No-BS reality check that makes it a valuable source of information about politics, but also music and other fun stuff.
