I don’t know, I guess you will have to ask Obama and his administration, considering he promised to stop rendition and to also close Gitmo, and he is not doing either.

I’d like to see him follow through, wouldn’t you?

I was under the impression that closing Gitmo was a very long process, not something that could be done overnight. The Federal Government seems a slow beast, like trying to turn an aircraft carrier.
