What is the newest book in today’s Modern American Lit?

We’re going to be discussing Updike’s Rabbit At Rest. Half way into that book. I enjoy Updike. Just finished Anne Tyler’s Accidental Tourist. My term paper is on Richard Wright’s Black Boy which is a topic of my choosing and perhaps one of my favorite autobios of all time.
